Two Can Program

Children who are 2 1/2 by September 1 of the current school year are able to participate in the Two Can program. There is a 5:1 child to teacher ratio, with no more than 10 students in a class.  We offer two Two Can classes each year, a Tuesday/Thursday class and a Wednesday/Friday class. 

The children attend in the morning from 9:15 to 11:00 a.m.  After January 1st, the class time is extended to 11:15 am.  A healthy separation from a parent/caregiver is the primary goal for the Two Can program. The children experience a safe, warm and nurturing environment which allows them to move at their own pace in a self directed manner. It is important for children to feel good about themselves and school.  We want them to discover that school is a place where they will be welcomed and accepted by warm and caring adults and find classrooms that are filled with opportunities to learn about the world in which they live. We support the children's growth and a continuing desire to learn through indoor and outdoor play, art, music, stories and songs.  By doing so the children learn to interact with their peers and develop a healthy respect for themselves and others.
